April 30, 2026 at 9:33 amHi everyone,
I need some legal advice regarding an issue with Flipkart.I ordered an AC worth ₹25,683 on EMI (6 months) on 17 March 2026. It was marked as shipped on 18 March, but even after 1+ month, the product has not been delivered.
Issues faced:
Multiple false delivery dates (30 March, 6, 8, 9, 12, 13 April)
Incorrect / inconsistent tracking details
Complaint raised but no proper resolution
Complaint on INGRAM closed with reason: “seller was not ready to initiate the return/refund request”
Now they are asking me to cancel the order.Financial impact:
EMI has already started (~₹4,482/month)
Interest is being charged (~₹1,200 total approx)16 %.
Product price has increased & previous offers expiredFlipkart is refusing:
Refund of EMI interest
Refund of processing fees to bank account
Any compensation
They are offering EMI processing fee in Flipkart wallet.I also have call recording evidence where support denied compensation verbally.
My Questions:
What legal action should I take next? (Consumer court, legal notice, etc.)
Is Flipkart liable even if they say “seller not ready”?
How much compensation can I realistically claim in this case?
Should I proceed with chargeback + court together?Any advice from legal experts or people with similar experience would really help.
Thanks!
