April 26, 2026 at 1:24 pmHey guys, I really need some advice because I’m losing my mind. I’m a student and I saved up for an Acer laptop (₹1.5 Lakhs) for my college. Flipkart basically sent me a second-hand unit and is now refusing to give my money back.
But the laptop i received alr had its warranty preactivated before the date of purchase. I checked with Acer support and they confirmed the laptop is already registered in someone else’s name. The warranty started months before I even bought it. Acer literally told me over the phone and email that the seller’s invoice is invalid.
To make it worse, I checked the seller’s address on the on the invoice and found out it to be fake. There’s no shop there, just an empty plot on Google Maps.
I tried getting a replacement, but when the delivery guy showed up, he refused the mandatory Open Box Delivery (OBD). When I told him I wouldn’t accept it without checking, he just took the laptop and left. Now, for the last 12 days, the app just keeps saying “Replacement arrives tomorrow” every single day, but nobody shows up.
Flipkart support is useless. They keep denying my refund and forcing this replacement loop claiming we rejected replacement when their delivery agent refused open box delivery and took the product back with himself.
I’ve filed an NCH complaint, but Flipkart just replied with a generic “we will revert” and disappeared. My cc bill is due and ive filed for a chargeback but theyre asking me to pay the amount first and only after that would they be able to initiate a chargeback
I’m a student, I can’t afford to lose this kind of money. Has anyone dealt with this “Replacement loop” before? How do I force these guys to give me a refund when they’ve clearly committed fraud?
Any help would be huge.
