Gave jwels to someone 10years back!! Need help

So my mom was dispersed around 10 years back ,she worked in pvt school there she had a colleague who needed money so she helped her for couple of thousands and then that lady asked my mom she need more money for her brother’s weeding and she will return back in a month !! So my mom gave her jwels worth Rs 10 lakh to her for loan and she did not told my dad she but she did no gave the jwels back she says that she will surely retun the jwelry
Is there anything now that i can do for proof!! Ex.Like stamp paper …etc
I have 0 knowledge about legal thing any help would be appreciated

As i have mentioned she was unwell at that time she was manipulated

If this incident happened 10 years ago you’ll be barred under law to bring a suit now.

Unless you get her to say on text that she took and will return it now.

If she isn’t denying and has given that in writing then send her a legal notice.
