UMy father pledged gold in Union Bank to get loan.
Four months back he met with an accident and is unconscious now. When I enquired in the bank to repay the loan amount and get the gold back, the manager denied my request stating that only my father in a conscious state can get the pledged gold back and the nominee, who is my mother, is applicable only in the case of death.
The manager also informed that there are no other options from bank side and I can get the gold back using a court order. My sister’s wedding is coming up in 3 months and I need the gold back for it.
How does court order process work and how long will it take? Are there other options for me now?
