In this capacity, COPYTRACK does not make binding legal determinations. Our involvement is limited to facilitating communication and coordinating the rights-clarification process on behalf of our client.
Please note that removal of the image addresses only its current availability and does not clarify whether the prior use was covered by a valid licence. Our contact concerns the verification of authorisation for the period during which the image was used.
Our previous correspondence was issued solely on the basis of information provided by our client and served to clarify whether the use of the image(s) in question is supported by a valid and dated license.
If a valid license can be provided, the case will be closed. In the absence of such proof, the rights holder maintains a claim for compensation in connection with the use of the image. The matter may be resolved via our portal at https://portal.copytrack.com/ by entering your Case ID . Upon payment, a full invoice or receipt will be issued.
Our client remains interested in an amicable and efficient resolution. Should such a resolution not be achieved, our client may pursue this matter further by mandating one of our partner law firms within your jurisdiction, which may result in additional costs.
