Has anybody from here filed a PIL? Need information on things related to it.

Planning to file a PIL with regard to a lot of issues that’s happening in the city (Bengaluru) mainly environmental pollution. Here’s some of the questions I had.

1. What kind of documents can make the case strong?
2. What are some of the do’s and don’ts I need to follow while filing and while going through the process?
3. I’m aware that a PIL can be filed online but to take things forward in the court and other hearings, do I need to hire a lawyer or is it something I can handle by myself?
4. What should I be prepared for after filing the PIL?

I do not have a lot of information in terms of law and things surrounding it. So I’d appreciate any info you can tell me even if its not related to the above 4 questions. TIA.
