February 28, 2025 at 1:53 pmI am currently living in a 1RK and planning to shift to a 2BHK with my friend. I spoke to my current landlord and he said I would have to pay rent for 2 months as per the agreement, March and April. He also said that I need not pay the rent for April incase they get a new tenant.I also need to make a new rental agreement that starts from April for the 2BHK I’m moving into.
Is there any problem with having two rental agreements at the same time? And, would my current landlord be able to find out if I’m moving to a new apartment ( really don’t want him to know)?
I’m new to this whole renting situation so wanted help.
