If a company has patented its AI-driven platform, specifically securing protection for its Neural Resonance Mapping (NRM) feature, but has chosen to keep its Cognitive Pattern Recognition (CPR) feature as a trade secret, should CPR be included in the patent since it is also part of the same AI platform? Or is it legally sound to protect one component through a patent while keeping another proprietary feature undisclosed?

This is a very niche patent agent question and the info here is quite limited. The technical aspects would need to be looked at, understanding how the two features work.
