UHi My brother has received this notice where he has been asked to present in Karnataka’s one of Police station. Also, we live in Maharashtra where I now want to understand if there is any chance if this is legal notice or a scam. Also if this is correct what can be done ? As my brothers name is not mentioned in the attached images. Please guide me as I’m not having any idea about the process.

CNAL Yeah well they have the power to summon you , your name doesn’t need to be on the FIR and also it seems like your case is real and not a scam

CCall the station? Test the waters , see why they need you and what’s your connection to it, if they talk rudely or just refuse cooperation, lawyer up..and also why the hell a scammer is depositing money to your brother’s account and where is the deposited money ? Did your brother offer his account for the scammer to use for a commission?

UHe received bank notice via post saying it has been restricted, to unrestrict he has to contact local police
