February 15, 2025 at 6:10 amI need advice on pursuing a consumer forum complaint in India regarding **a Kaff hob stove** bought from Hyderabad having faulty burner (lodged Jan 3, 2025). On raising the complaint it was told that the part will be replaced under warranty. However even after repeated follow ups, the issue remains unresolved after a month. I have raised tickets with their support email and there are email conversations promising a fix but nothing seems to happen in reality. Please advise on:
* Legal grounds for a consumer forum complaint in this warranty/service deficiency case. Is there no timeline for fixing the issue?
* Complaint filing process (documents, fees).
* Potential remedies (replacement, compensation, costs).
* Typical cost and time frame for consumer resolution
* Key considerations/best practicesI have never done this before, so please advice with steps.
My location is Hyderabad.

February 15, 2025 at 3:08 pmHave you raised the issue on NCH? If yes, that is not a consumer forum. It is a mediation platform started by govt before you actually file a complaint in the consumer forum/court.What you have filed is a grievance.
If you are unsatisfied with their response, send them an email letting them know if they donβt resolve your complaint within 30 days, you will move court.
