PSo 3 years back i have given money to a women and now she is refusing to give money with interest. The money was given through a friend.
After so many attempts of asking money from her. She is now refusing & she also tried to commit s**cide but it was a failed attempt and now she is threatning to put a case on me.
She is asking for the money to pay medical bills & maintenance and i have provided her minimum care. She called police but they didn’t register any FIR and they called me to provide minimum assistance but she has made a long Hospital Bill.
Still i provided whatever i can. I’ve just landed on Job and i dont have any further money. I can’t ask from my parents too.
I’ve also contacted that friend and now he is denying for any support or assistance.
(I guess he is also involved in this)I am stuck now. Plz help.

HYou are not liable for anything as the person is alive. To establish a case under Section 306 of the IPC (abetment to suicide), it is essential that the person has died. You are not legally obligated to pay her anything, and you may inform her that she is free to pursue the matter in court if she wishes.
