LHey lawyers here,i belong from a lower middle class family, i need your help regarding changing me & ny mother’s name. We both want to change our surnames to my maternal grandfather’s surname. I know that we have to file and affidavit > Gazette > post in newspaper > then proceed to change in official docs.
But what are the required documents/prerequisites that we need to have to change our surnames?
Also what are the hurdles we can have while going through this process?
