MHello everyone,
My grandmother had a house in our Village which was sold by his son-in-law(my mom are 3 siblings, eldest sister’s husband both are deceased currently) using fake documents to his money lender.The property’s legal heir are currently my mother and her elder sister (middle), my mom tried her utmost with a lawyer and the accused never came on court and we had 2 sessions a month that continued for almost 6 months however the accused never came and my mom wasn’t able to pay the last few so the lawyer had kept our documents.
Meanwhile the person had sold our property to another person and gone absconding, now the person who bought the property is coming to our house frequently and calling us and regularly asking for compensation or handover at cheaper rate (deducted whatever he paid to the previous guy).
How should we proceed please help me I am confusedml.
P.S: My mom is a single mother and we live in rent and I am college student.
My mom’s elder sister is not willing to pay or talk with lawyers but want the property share (earlier told my mom that property will be divided into 3 parts two for her children and 1 for me however I think it should be divided into 2 parts for my mom and her sister then passed onto us).Please Guide Me 🙏
