How bad is PF Fund not credited into employees PF account by Employeer

Hi, As title says, A friend of mine said their company deducts the PF and doesn’t credits to the PF account and upon checking the UTR (traking numbers) are invalid for many employees. the company is almost 1.5 years old and running in solo proprietorship with turnover morethan single to double digit Cr.
