April 13, 2025 at 7:35 amThe SC has the power to issue orders to complete justice. They can also issue guidelines and orders to the governmentThese were twice passed bills by the elected government. The governor(or if deferred the president) is supposed to sign them βas soon as possibleβ it had been 1.5 years since the second passage of the bills. Which is why the case even existed.
This was then used to issue guidelines so other states can find legal remedy when this happens
