May 3, 2026 at 12:45 pmContext is that a client of mine had assigned me work for 10k rs which she paid after delivery of work. Later on she did not like the work delivered and was trying to contact me. But due to death in family, I couldnβt get back to her.She proceeded to file a cyber complaint against me for it. The bank account got frozen and funds went on hold. As soon as I got to know that she is the one who filed the complaint, I contacted her and explained her the situation. And most importantly refunded her the entire money and asked her to withdraw the complaint.
She had filed it online so she withdrew it online only. But the funds still are on hold. When I contacted the Investigating Officer on this case via acknowledgment number, he said that unless the complainant does not visit the cyber cell in person and tell them that the dispute is resolved, they will not issue the NOC. When I told them that she is not cooperating for it, they said they cant do anything.
I went for a lawyer for this. He sent her a legal notice for the same but she did not take it seriously. I have filed a complaint for the same on Public Grievance Portal but there is no response for it.
I donβt want to waste any more money on the lawyer because clearly he is not able to help.
Please help with further guidance. What can I do to obtain a NOC without her cooperation?
