My Bank Of Baroda mobile showed charges for debit card , but I had never received that card. I visited branch but they were rude and didn’t provide resolutions. I complained online on bob portal and still no resolution.
I tried complaining to RBI ombudsman.
It’s been around 4 months now and there’s still no resolution. Do rbi ombudsman really take this long.

I want them block the cards and reverse the charges they deducted after the complaint of not receiving card.

I’m sorry to hear about the frustrating experience you’re having with Bank of Baroda. When dealing with such issues, persistence and a strategic approach can often lead to resolution. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how you might proceed:

**1. Document Everything:** Keep detailed records of all interactions, including dates, times, names of bank officials spoken to, and any correspondence via email or letters. This documentation will be crucial if you need to escalate the matter further.

**2. Follow Up Regularly:** Continue following up on your complaint both through the bank’s customer service channels and online portal. Regular follow-ups demonstrate your commitment to resolving the issue and keep it active in their system.

**3. Escalate Within the Bank:** If initial attempts have failed, escalate your complaint within Bank of Baroda by contacting higher authorities such as the branch manager or regional office. Use your documented evidence to support your case.

**4. Leverage Social Media:** Banks often respond more quickly when issues are raised publicly on platforms like Twitter or Facebook due to reputational concerns. Be sure to tag official accounts and use relevant hashtags.

**5. Revisit RBI Ombudsman:** Since you’ve already approached the RBI Ombudsman without success, consider revisiting this option with additional documentation or new developments in your case.

**6. Seek Legal Advice:** If all else fails, consulting a legal professional may provide options for further action against unfair charges or poor service.

**7. Consumer Forums:** You can also file a complaint with consumer forums that handle banking disputes for additional support and guidance.

Remember that while this process can be time-consuming and frustrating, persistence is key in holding financial institutions accountable for their services and ensuring fair treatment as a customer.
