How to change my family status to Single after annulment?

I recently got my marriage voided by the court. What is process and where to go to change my status back to Single?

If you have mentioned that you are married in any official document, then you have to apply for change in the status by attaching a certified copy of the court decree.

If you have registered your marriage, approach the sub registrar (same office where you registered the marriage) and take your original marriage certificate & certified court decree along with you.
