April 1, 2025 at 4:56 amCheck if your bank comply with RTI act first. Then find out the public information officer of the bank. You can write it to him -

April 1, 2025 at 7:13 amYes, you *can* file an RTI to check if an FIR is registered in your name. Since your account was frozen by MHA police, you should address the RTI to the concerned police unit under the Ministry of Home Affairs (likely Cyber Crime or Economic Offences Wing). To file online:
1. Visit [https://rtionline.gov.in](https://rtionline.gov.in)
2. Select “Ministry of Home Affairs” → then the relevant police unit
3. In “Text for RTI Application,” mention: “Kindly provide details of any FIR or complaint registered in my name or against my bank account number [XXXX] between [Date] to [Date] under your jurisdiction.”If you want help drafting or tracking the RTI safely, you can explore trusted options like RTIwala’s [Online RTI]() or [Anonymous RTI]() filing.
