ours is a small company (<25 employees). we didnโt have posh committee till now and we are only forming it now because we are streamlining our hr policies.
the problem is there are just two female employees including our company- me (in junior management) and my mom (director). we have had female employees in the past, but not at the present. ours is a male dominated field.
from my understanding, there needs to be atleast 50% female representation. so if i become the presiding member and my mom internal member, would it be bias? whats the alternative.
also where do i get external member for cheap. i saw the prices and their yearly retainer is 20k-30k which imo is a bit too much for compliance.
