BMC says they have lost my grandmother’s house ownership papers. She has all proof and is paying taxes n bills too. There is a SRA scheme and old owners name is in the list. They are trying to scam her. BMC has sent letter stating if they want to add new name they should appeal to collector. We are confused and need a lawyer’s advice and must send legal reply to bmc

The govt provides legal aid for free in every state. For you it’s Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority (MSLSA)
