My friend took total of 15L (not in bulk), now he is not returning it, he is willing to give cheque’s and sign any bond, what can I do now to be legally secured? I’m so worried.

Ask him a check and then cash it, if it fails there is a legal process bank would follow on him as to why he wrote such a huge cheque and you would have proff that he has taken so much money from you.

Take the cheque as security and also make him sign a agreement with a proper schedule for repayment of the amount. If your friend is willing to do this, it is likely that he wants to return the money but does not have it at the moment.
