USo, I have a friend, let’s say her name is Tanisha. When Tanisha was 3 years old, her dad passed away due to cancer. After that, her mother went back to her parents’ house with Tanisha, and for a few years, they lived there. Then her mother remarried. Her stepdad, before the marriage, said that he would take good care of Tanisha, and in the beginning, he did treat her well. But after a few years, he slowly started making taunts at her. Her mother, instead of supporting her, also started taking his side and began taunting her too. Things kept escalating, and now they both physically abuse her (she’s 18+). Her mom and stepdad beat her over anything, and her entire body is covered in scars. They beat her so much that when one of them gets tired, the other takes over, and when that one gets tired, the first one starts again. They even say things like, “We’ll kill you,” and that they are only keeping her for the money from her previous family. They say really vulgar things, and her mom frequently calls her a slut and other horrible names.
Tanisha is a very smart kid. She had a 2k rank in JEE Advanced, but her dad didn’t let her go through the counseling process. I don’t know what else to say, but if you need more information, I can tell you. I’m really panicking right now.
