From that point onward they have given me very poor customer service as I have failed to get a hold of them to discuss compensation options…

January 21, 2025 at 7:55 amBasically my flight that was t 7:45 am was cancelled due to “winter schedule” and they rescheduled my flight to another one on the same date for 2:00 am which is extremely inconvenient for me, the details of how it is inconvenient I had already sent them over a mail. I only got a chance to respond to them via mail around the 6th of January since I missed seeing their mail in a set of other junk mail. I listed my inconveniences and stated that i would like a compensation for the monetary charges that will incur due to higher cab fares at this odd hour. I also stated other reasons like stress and loss of sleeping hours that will hamper my work in the city etc.I then receive a mail from them that they will get back to me in 24 hrs which they never did so i had to mail them again asking for an update post which I received a call from them stating since they have informed 14 days prior about the cancellation they are not liable for a compensation but they can give me a free reschedule for the flight. I told them that their next available flight options are incredibly inconvenient again plus if i knew about the cancellation i would not have booked the outbound flight to city A in the first place since my business in city A is extremely time sensitive. They then proceed to tell me that they can consider paying any additional fare charges that may incur if i book with another airline at a convenient time and asked me to mail the approx difference amount and they will consider and get back to me, They also shared a mail regarding the same explicitly stating that if i “would” book another flight they will “consider” the charges. I mailed them on the 7th jan about the approx price differences and awaited their response which never came. I mailed them again asking why it is taking so long they sent an automated response on 9th Jan stating they will get back to me in 2-5 days.
Now i am here sitting with an extremely inconvenient flight at 2 am and i have not cancelled and booked any other flight cus they told me they will get back to me. more than a week passes by and no on e responds so now i try to call them after which their customer care agent promises me i will get a call back in 24hrs
This callback never comes so the next day i call again asking to speak to higher ups and after multiple holds i get in touch with a higher up manager who promises me i will get a call by evening. This also did not happen so I call them again the next day and same routine again, promising me for a call and no call. I again get in call with another manager who says he has spoken to the concerened team and they will without fail call me next day, no call as usual. I get busy 2 days so after 2 more days I call back again multiple times before finally getting to the manager and the manager tells me yesterday that they will surely respond by eod. No response as usual. Now i am extremely frustrated. The cancellation is a secondary issue for which i still demand a resolution that is fair enough but they are not even giving proper information and i am here stuck with a nonsense flight booked that will make it very difficult for me to travel home and at the same time they keep giving false promises. Also all this while i didnt take their offer to give refund thinking they will give a fair resolution and thus didnt book any other flight for which now prices have shot up as well. My main frustration is that they are not responding and keeping up with their promises. why does the consumer have to keep on following up and break his head in between work and everything else.
I am looking for a means to ensure some justice here, if there is anything I missed will add in comments. Also looking to understand if this situation is in any way against me and also what are my options to do something so that i get a proper resolution for all my mental distress. My initial issue was the cancellation but now this level of ignoring my issue and not getting back to me and keeping me misinformed has frustrated me the most, this is my main concern now. If any other advice as well, please share. Apologies for any grammatical and spelling errors, have typed this in urgency as I am busy with work.
