UI have received this reply to my RTI .I asked for medicine availability in hospital. I received this reply after 13 days of submission, why didn’t they transfer my RTI to other department. I am from maharastra
Reply: The information you have asked in your online RTI application is not available in our record. So we unable to provide it & it relates to MCGM, apply separately and informing you by No-RTI-2025/Online-28/UD- 21 dated 03 January 2025.
महोदय,
उपरोक्त विषयाबाबतचा आपला दिनांक २४.१२.२०२४ रोजीचा माहितीचा अधिकार अधिनियम, २००५ अंतर्गत केलेला अर्ज दिनांक २६.१२.२०२४ रोजी या कार्यासनास प्राप्त झालेला आहे.
सदर अर्जान्वये मागणी केलेली माहिती या कार्यासनाच्या अभिलेखात नसल्याने सदर माहिती आपणास उपलब्ध करुन देता येणार नाही. आपण मागणी केलेली माहिती बृहन्मुंबई महानगरपालिकेशी संबंधीत असल्याने आपण माहिती अधिकार अधिनियम, २००५ अंतर्गत स्वतंत्रपणे माहितीचा अर्ज बृहन्मुंबई महानगरपालिकांकडे सादर करावा.
उपरोक्त माहितीने आपले समाधान न झाल्यास, सदर पत्र प्राप्त झाल्यापासून ३० दिवसांचे आत आपणांस श्रीमती विद्या हम्पय्या, प्रथम अपिलीय अधिकारी तथा सह सचिव, नगर विकास विभाग, मंत्रालय, मुंबई ४०० ०३२ यांचेकडे प्रथम अपिल दाखल करता येईल.

IThe PIO is at fault here. He violated section 6(3) of the RTI act. PIO is responsible to transfer the application where the asked information is available. File the first appeal with the first appellate authority (FAA) within 30 days of receiving the reply.
