This is a throwaway. Years ago I came across a video which showed some guys (early 20s) doing reckless things and endangering people on the road which ended up in them getting into an accident. One of them recorded the video and circulated it. It somehow ended up with me and I posted it to reddit and it went viral. One of the guys face is visible for a few seconds and they are now threatening to sue me. I have taken down the video. Can they sue me? Will it not incriminated them too?

No, theoretically they cannot expect to sue and win if what you say is exactly true.

Yes, it would incriminate them as well if they actually did something that’s illegal and not allowed. But this is very much a grey area and depends on several factors like the nature of the crime etc. Without seeing the video, hard to guess.
