March 23, 2025 at 11:16 amAs a Fresher, I joined an MNC as an Analyst but the work was very hectic and tiring and it had a toxic work culture so I decided to resign from the company. I had signed a bond for 14 months but worked only 8 months, now I have to pay 75000 to the company. I diligently served the notice period for 2 months and somehow tried to arrange for the money but could not. They stopped my last month’s salary and stopped my relieving letter. Now I am trying to look for other jobs but they are asking for a relieving letter from my previous company and I can’t hide my employment as my PF has already been made. I have been rejected from 2 companies because of this issue. What should I do? I am not sure, My career had just started and now I am afraid it could get over. -

March 23, 2025 at 1:38 pmTalk with a lawyer ASAP. Bond is illegal in India unless the company can prove that they spent that amount on training. But beware, HRs communicate with each other and the news that you sued can go to HRs of other companies and they can informally blacklist you. -
