April 27, 2026 at 3:28 pmHelo, My father is working as Lorry cleaner ( labour). He works 24 hours and next day, he stays at home. It continuos like this every month. By connecting like this ” for example Today morning he starts at home 7:00 A.M and comes home tomorrow morning 8:00 A.M. Again he stays at home from 8:00 A.M to next day morning 7:00 A.M. This repeat everymonth like this.By observing like this, he does not have any public holidays. Also whenever he takes leaves,They asked him to work for continuosly for 72 hours. Also sometimes whenever he need leaves they will try to threaten him like “if you does not come to work, we will remove you or stop coming to work”.
So, If I want to take a legal action against them. How can I act??. Does I need to file a FIR or Does India have any protection force for labours which helps to implement safety of labours from excessive work, unethical behaviour or provides the any sleeping time request for labour.
I am concerned about my father health. They even not providing health safety for him. Also yesterday, he take leave from work but the supervisor calls my father till 11:53 p.m.
I am asking my father to stop working in that company but he is not listening. Instead he tells me that, I do not know any type of work instead this work. so he is asking me not to interfere with him.
