ICICI Credit Card Fraud via Flipkart Gift Cards – Lost ₹35,000 Without Sharing OTP

My ICICI credit card got compromised recently and I started receiving multiple OTPs for Flipkart transactions. I NEVER shared any OTP with anyone.

Within minutes, ₹35,000 was deducted through multiple gift card purchases.

Actions taken:

Immediately blocked the card

Logged out from all devices

Reported to ICICI Bank

Filed complaint on National Cyber Crime Portal (Acknowledgment No: 32902260028849)

Despite quick reporting, ICICI says it’s not their responsibility.

Flipkart is also not helping.

This is clearly unauthorized usage and a failure in fraud detection systems.

Has anyone faced similar issues? Any advice on getting a refund or escalating this (RBI Ombudsman etc.) would help.
