April 20, 2025 at 2:33 pmWe have several parcels of land in our village. All those lands were purchased in an auction by my great great grandfather. Those lands are jointly held by my father and uncles. Now the heir of the original seller has been playing tricks to capture our land. He has bribed officials and has sought the services of agents (dalals). During the land record digitisation process, one such parcel of land was wrongly updated in the records (which has been resubmitted for rectification but is pending for a while now) and taking advantage of that, these agents have been claiming the land. They have surely bribed the officials and now they have an upper hand. We have all the land papers prior to the record digitisation but how to prove that in court? Also my uncles are feeling threatened for life due to all this issue. How to proceed legal actions against them? -

April 20, 2025 at 2:36 pmGet a lawyer. File a court case with original case to get an injunction against claiming this.
Next, pay a lot of money to the concerned judges and officials to get the docs corrected. -

April 21, 2025 at 12:33 amWrite a letter to the govt. Officials to change the digitised records of lands to your names, showing your documents.
They may demand a bribe. If they don’t change them to your name, even if you provide them with your old original docs,
You need to go to the high court and file a writ of mandamus, asking the court for directing the officials to do their job properly and to change the names of owners of lands to your names based on your original docs.
(Before filing this, your representation is compulsory,
-better to send through a registered post or make your representation counter stamped when you give it to the office).
