My cousin passed away last week and the family is in the process of settling hospital bills. The fundraiser was started nearly 3 months back and wasn’t able to even hit the 10% mark. These sickos at impactguru have been making different excuses ever since and charging nearly 3.5 lakhs as commission. Send the hospital bill, pay the bill and we’ll transfer the money to your bank account and all sorts of idiot statements.
What can we do to sort this out.

The commissions are clearly marked on their websites . When you donate , you have to enter the commission and the donation amount . Not sure what story they are spinning .

Milaap and impactguru – both are big frauds. Heard many cases like what OP is saying. They routinely do this. What kind of asshole you have to be to do this to someone who is already in pain… all the best OP. Hope you get the justice you deserve
