April 1, 2025 at 10:20 amI received an egregiously incorrect blood report from a diagnostic centre. The levels were so off that the doctors advised me to go for IV antivirals immediately along with blood cultures and biopsy. I can’t forget the way blood just drained from the doctor’s face looking at the reports, he had not expected it and his eyes pretty much confirmed something horrible has happenedThankfully, I had the good sense to ask the doctor if we should double check the reports because it was done by a diagnostic centre I had no experience with. He agreed and I got tested again at the doctor’s facility (in hardly 48 hours of the first test). Lo and behold, my blood reports were absolutely normal. The doctor made the pathologists run the test again to be sure. Same results. To be extra safe, i did the tests again at another trusted diagnostic centre (Vijay Diagnostic) and again, same results – absolutely normal.
Had I trusted GEETHA DIAGNOSTIC CENTRE (which I almost did), I would have undergone so much unwarranted physical and mental stress. I want to sue this diagnostic centre for the awfully wrong reports. How do I proceed?
The incident has taken place in Hyderabad.

April 1, 2025 at 10:31 amYou can contact the previous lab and ask for reevaluation if they have the sample. They keep sample for 2-3 days I think. In my case, it was more than a week. So, couldn’t do anything.-
