February 13, 2025 at 5:09 pmI 18f, am a student studying at Karnavati university. I had a flight at 9:40 in the morning from Ahmedabad to Hyderabad, after arriving at the baggage check at 8:45 I was told by the staff at counter 38 that baggage check closes 1 hour before and that it was my fault for not being early. It was ridiculous that they didn’t help me but I cooperated even though I was denied boarding and I was told i could take the next flight of 10:30 at the counter 25. It was extremely stupid but I still cooperated. At 8:50 I tried to book the 10:30 flight but I was told to come back at 9:40. So I waited there and went back to counter 25 at 9:40 sharp. I am a student and I didn’t have the 2500 inr extra for the ticket so there was a small delay. I was still speaking to the staff at counter 25. The delay for my payment was only a few minutes however the staff told me that they had closed the baggage check even for the 10:30 flight and it was my fault for the delay. I was literally in tears and begging to be helped but they did not help me. To make matters worse I was now not being allowed of the airport either and the next flight was at 4. So I went back to counter 38 where there were 4 women ahead of me and they had the same issue however I saw their bags being claimed at the same time. But I wasn’t helped and they only got me out of the air port. Now to take matters worse indigo’s horrible complaint and customer services were not replying and when I spent hours calling them was when they replied only to keep referring me to their ‘seniors’. I waited until 2:00 for the flight at 4:00 but I was informed there was a delay and had to wait for 1 more hour. At this point I had already been at the air port since 8:50 in the morning. I finally made it and completedy baggage check but the 4:00 flight was delayed to the point where we only got on the flight and were still sitting in the seat even at 6:50. The plane was deplaned and I could only take off at 8:40 in the evening. That’s absolutely ridiculous and the way I was treated lacks even basic humanity. I want to sue indigo for this or at least get a refund and compensation for damaged. -

February 13, 2025 at 6:12 pmIm a frequent flyer, I was late only by 5 minutes but the staff chose not to help me. But okay i understand for the 9:40 flight that it was my fault. But after that for the 10:30 flight I was told to come back at 9:40 to book the layer flight even though I wanted to do it at 8:50 only and while I was still there at the desk and making the payment I was told that they closed the baggage again. Other people having the same problem were allowed boarding and I was denied. I don’t understand how it’s my fault for being “late” even for the 2nd flight at 10:30.-

February 13, 2025 at 7:10 pmGuess you didn’t read the post, i accepted that I was late for the first flight, but for the second one it was the staff’s fault for not letting me book at 8:45 while I was there, making me wait till 9:40 which was the last possible moment and then closing the baggage check while my payment was in process and I was still at the counter right in front of them.

February 13, 2025 at 6:14 pmIt is the airlines fault as the staff failed to get me on the 10:30 flight although I was at the airport since 8:45. I was not late for the 2nd flight but the staff chose to ignore me until the last possible minute which is 9:40 and closed the baggage claim in my face while I was still making the payment. Don’t see how this is my fault π
