Insecure about property: grandfather may change will, what are our rights?

My grandfather is a corrupt person, and I have serious family issues. My mother and I live in a house that originally came to my grandfather through a will.

My father has been in a live-in relationship with another woman for the past 20 years, has a son aged 17 without divorcing my mother. He lives in a different house in the same city.

We have a registered will related to my grandfather’s house, where my mother and I currently live. However, we feel insecure about our situation — what if he changes the will?

We also do not have the original property papers, and we are unable to access them.

Are we completely helpless in this situation?
