I’m looking for legal advice regarding a laptop insurance policy I purchased from TIMES Global Assurance. I paid around ₹17,000 for a 2-year protection plan starting October 2022, which is set to expire in October this year.
After Dell replaced my laptop due to repeated hardware issues, I informed the insurer and they acknowledged the update of my policy with the new serial number. However, I’ve been following up for weeks to get the updated policy document and have received no response since. They don’t reply to emails and never answer their phone.
At this point, it feels like a scam. What are my legal options to make them respond or pursue a refund? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
