April 7, 2025 at 8:10 pmI(21M) have bought a Motorola phone from flipkart and on the 3rd the day, the phone was automatically switched off repeatedly. I went to service centre and requested for replacement(service center is around 120kms away). They said, they will repair it surely and after three days, doing something called “SOFTWARE” returned it back. The phone worked for a day and then the problem started happening again. Now I am tired of this mobile phone. They are saying the will repair it by opening the phone and doing things. Why should I get a defective phone and then allow them to change parts as the new phone, should be replaced, right? The flipkart says, 7 says replacement policy. What can I do? Should I file a case on eJagriti(new version of edaakhil) or go to consumer court physically without a lawyer. Are the cases dragged for years? An advice will be grateful.

April 7, 2025 at 8:26 pmA complaint at the consumer court would take about 2-3 years to resolve, by virtue of the process that is followed. But if your grievance is legit, youโll get what you need.
