February 21, 2025 at 8:54 amYou need to pay some amount to panchayat for conversion, then take noc for construction from them. I suggest you visit panchayat office and check with them on the procedure. I am not from Rajasthan, so there may be slight changes. -

Government kis kis par action legi ?
People usually convert to sell residential plots.
Do nothing, it will be difficult, you will have to bribe at every step.
Log samjenge kuch illegal kar rahe ho.
Udta teer etc etc.

February 21, 2025 at 10:51 amI agree as per my knowledge for a farmer it is ok to build a single house on his farmland. Mostly the house should not be multi storey. If multi storey house then you need to take and get your plan and other approvals from gram panchayat.

February 21, 2025 at 10:44 amLal dora is the area in a village where villagers build their homes it is not illegal but the house cannot be sold or transferred either on record but recently the government has started to get the lal dora areas surveyed and people are being allowed to get the property registration done by original owners after which they would be able to sell on record -

February 21, 2025 at 2:27 pmIt is perfectly legal to covert a “part” of your agricultural land into your home. The most common limit of 10% of the land. But it varies from state to state and sometimes there are limits on absolute size of the house as well. -
