Is it safe to cancel(refuse to accept) prepaid order on meesho?

I ordered a pair of sandals for my friend but now she asked me to cancel the order. It is already shipped so can’t be cancelled. Now I am thinking to cancel the order at the time of delivery. Will it be safe? What if the delivery agent don’t cancel the order and mark it delivered?? The customer support is shitt so I don’t want to take risk
