Is telling a vulgar joke covered under Freedom of speech?

Given the recent out burst of the country over a joke told In a comedy show for adults , Is telling a vulgar joke or having a vulgar joking conversation against the law, I need legal advise as I joke a lot , and how to protect myself from the People in Power who abuse their power and pressure the police to file cases even tho it comes under freedom of speech.

Exactly what’s happening they passing the law the “broadcasting Bill “to regulate and control all creators that’s are online like on youtube or instagram and they have to register with the Government as broadcasters and if their content is violating thelaw they could face fines from 50 Lacs to 2 crore plus.

To get an answer to this simply google bollywood movies, series, songs, shows with vulgar meanings and abuses and you’ll get your answer. Censor boards have been allowing them for ages.
