Issue with Buying Property with POA

  Hi,
  
  Is there any issue with buying a property (3 BHK Flat) through POA (power of attorney) ? 10yr old flat in Bangalore.
  
  Owner lives in US and mother who is in Mumbai is going to be POA. The property was also bought through POA.
  
  Any potential complications that can arise through it. Somehow, broker kept me in dark till the last moment.
  
  There is some high tds that also I guess needs to be deducted.

  Is the POA registered or just notarized?
  Registered is safe and make sure you make every payment to the owner and not the POA holder.
  Also take a NOC from owner (can be mailed from US) stating he is familiar and ok with the transaction.
