I am seeking legal representation in a probate dispute concerning my late mother’s estate. I was born and brought up in Mumbai and belong to a Mumbai-based family. My mother passed away in 2024.
A caveat has been filed regarding a disputed and allegedly fabricated Will, under which my brothers have named themselves as sole executors and beneficiaries. I intend to challenge the authenticity and validity of this Will and protect my lawful share in the estate.
I had initially engaged an advocate through a reference; however, due to subsequent professional changes and lack of coordination, I am now looking to appoint a new counsel.
I require a competent advocate in Mumbai with experience in probate, testamentary, and succession disputes with reasonable fee.
Any replies would be appreciated!

UThis seems a failr straight forward case although it will likely drag on for years. Best would be to ask friends and family only as reddit would not be able to give you any guarantee of the integrity of the attorney. Perhaps some old classmates from school can be looked into.
My personal opinion is that these issues almost always get resolved more quickly via mediation rather than litigation.
