Hi everyone, I need some advice regarding a life insurance policy claim.

My father had a Nippon Life Insurance policy called “Nischit Samruddhi Income Limited.” Here are the details:

        – Policy start date: 22 Aug 2022

        – Premium: ₹3,06,750 yearly

        – Next due date: 22 Aug 2023 (not paid)

        – Current status: Policy lapsed

        – Life cover: ₹31,34,469

Unfortunately, my father passed away in December 2024, more than a year after the policy lapsed.

        Given this situation:

        – Is the nominee eligible for any death benefit?

        – Will there be any paid-up value or surrender value payable?

        – Does Nippon Life allow any exception or late revival in such cases?

Also, could someone please explain what steps I should take next to try and make a claim or check eligibility?

Has anyone dealt with a similar situation or knows how such cases are handled?

Any guidance would really help. Thank you.
