Lawyer made me khajur.How to recover money?

My sister (bitch on wheels)has filed a false case against me over my Moms house that we inherited.

Now property is going for redevelopment and soon corpus/ transit rent will be distributed.

Unless we have a valid court order they will not give us our share.

So I hired a lawyer to appear for me at the City sessions court , he took 8k for appearance and 25 k for filing valalatnama , future consent terms etc

Now when I am checking the website it says Advocate for defemdant absent.

Wth?! He told me he had appeared. Can he still charge me for appearing?

How can I get my money back, I dont want to continue with this liar.

Approach the State Bar Council of your location and file a complaint for misconduct.
