March 26, 2025 at 1:16 pmIn May 2024, I purchased a SIM card, and after a month, I began receiving calls from Lazypay regarding loans. I explained to them that I had recently purchased the SIM and was not initially aware of the Lazypay app. They instructed me to send the acknowledgment paper proving that I was the new owner of the SIM. It seems the previous owner may have taken a loan and then abandoned the SIM.I received an acknowledgment message from my service provider, and after several exchanges via email, Lazypay claimed that the acknowledgment I provided was invalid. I then contacted my service provider for clarification, and they assured me that the email I received was sufficient. Despite this, Lazypay remains unsatisfied with the situation.
Recently, I received an SMS from Lazypay stating that if I do not clear a dues amount of 440 rupees, they might visit my home. I am concerned and they do not know my name or address. I need your advice on how to handle this situation.

March 26, 2025 at 1:48 pmFir all lenders there is a standard escalation matrix where RBI Ombudsman is the penultimate step. Find the email of the CEO and NODAL Officer and drop email with details. Ticket numbers… Earlier comms etc. And tell to. Stop calling and pestering. Get evidence trail Created….-
