I was scammed and I filed a FIR online for the same on the lazypay platform. I even showed them but they refused to entertain anything saying you have to pay and I went ahead and blocked them and they have been constantly calling me through several numbers, harassing me on WhatsApp, email and texts and today they shared me message where they will be sending hard copy legal litigation for failure of payment. What shall i do? Should I pay or fight this? Please advise if I am doing a crime by not paying something which is totally not my fault.

you ( nephew technically) shared the OTP. how is lazypay responsible for that?

if you still think lazypay is responsible, did you complain to Cyberpolice?

Exactly… Lazypay didn’t scam you so its not their fault. You shared otp..

You will never win this in court too cause its your fault, please help yourself to understand this.

I think you can request to reverse the transaction, even if you share the OTP, when fraud is committed. I think you need to raise the issue with the processing bank i.e., the bank with which you have A/C or Credit Card, within a certain time limit.

Please check your bank’s guidelines on cyberfraud and deal with it through the bank.
