Legal action against loud noises in the neighborhood

Is there any way we can take legal action or do anything about the ruckus that some people in the neighborhood make by carrying out loud processions? Are the laws different if it’s done for a party / marriage / religious processions / random celebrations? Especially during the nights where one only wants to sleep peacefully? Talking to the organisers is of no use, so is there any legal route we can take to at least the loud noises if not stop them? As a student, it’s really a disturbance. Any advice or experiences of such issues are welcome.

Call the police if its after 10-11, worked for me
