April 29, 2026 at 4:51 pmHi AllI had europe trip booked for my family (me my husband and my 4 year old son) starting from 14th April. I had booked this via a travel agency. But due to luftansa pilot strike our flight was told as cancelled on 12th April, my travel agency along with luftansa country head booked us on different flight 31passenger of this group booking were booked on air france flight (including me the mother) and remaining 11on air india flight.
During this rebooking my husband and son was put on air india flight which arrived approximately 12hours later after I reached paris.
I want to file complaint in consumer forum, inspite of mutliple requests I feel the travel agency did not put in complete effort to keep my family on the same flight for international travel. Since the flight for my son and husband came via middle east airspace I went through lot of mental distress.
Agency is claiming they tried with country head of luftansa but it’s just a whatapp message I asked for evidence they didn’t provide. Also on the air india flight seats were vacant and when I checked on 12th after this fiasco it was available. What are my rights in this case. Can I get help with filing petition edaakhil from anyone in this group
