February 19, 2025 at 1:20 pmYou will require 2 witnesses who have no interest in your legacy at any point of time.
1 executor of the will who will execute the distribution of your assets after your death.
1 doctor’s note that you’re of sound mind and proper health to have made this will. After you have made your will, these two witnesses will sign it and then you can register it at your local sub-registrar’s office where it will be officially recorded and kept.
After your death, the person whom you have named as the executor of the will must inform the court about your death and that you have a will in the testamentary dept.
The court then passes the order to the executor to start distribution of assets as per your will.
This is the general outline of how it works
Any changes to the process will be only and only due to human intervention and greed.
