February 7, 2025 at 3:20 pmI am a fourth-year law student looking for a long-term remote internship with solid mentorship in litigation. Being a first generation, it’s tough to figure out the law field. I explored litigation very late in my law school journey.I have lately interned with an advocate-on-record in SC. I did a good amount of research and got slight exposure to competition law as the advocate is empaneled with CCI.
I am interested in getting exposure to commercial litigation and seeking solid mentorship. Though, since I don’t have decent exposure to other law fields, I am open to learning and getting exposed to other fields of law too. -

February 7, 2025 at 7:10 pmWanting to experience the dynamic field of litigation and wanting to intern from afar, would not pair up well I’m afraid. Just a piece of advice from a first generation lawyer to likewise, starting out from Supreme Court may not be an ideal scenario unless you don’t want to see yourself getting independent anytime before 5 years down the line.
