I got married in February 2022 in Bihar. My partner and I currently live in the UK and need to get our marriage certificate sorted. However, the process has been incredibly frustrating. I’ve consulted multiple lawyers, but each one gives different advice.

I applied through e-Nibandhan Bihar, but the status has been stuck at “Pending Verification.” Has anyone been through a similar situation or followed the same process? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been struggling with this for months and even traveled to India just to get it sorted—yet, it still didn’t happen. Why does this have to be so complicated?
